Koichi Kite I
Recently in the midst of a lot of life changes, my work became a quest for balance and clarity, simplicity and serenity. I dug out my collection of Japanese papers and images and combined them with handmade papers and paint. My intention was to portray a balanced asymmetry with color, composition and line. I have attempted to express the timeless qualities of grace, balance and beauty and to portray a quiet place where all seems right and meaningful.
